Easton and Letheringham Village Hall is located in the beautiful
Suffolk village of Easton, famous for its serpentine wall, historical links with the Duke of Hamilton, Easton
Harriers Hunt Kennels and Easton Farm Park. As the name suggests the
village hall provides a fantastic facility for two neighbouring
communities - Easton and Letheringham.

The village hall was originally built as a school
by Susan Euphimia, the 10th Duchess of Hamilton, and remained a school
with accommodation for one teacher in the current store rooms until around 1890 when
the present Easton School was built and paid for by Mary, the 12th Duchess of Hamilton.

In 2011 the village hall underwent a major refurbishment which included a new wooden floor, wall insulation
throughout, roof insulation, secondary glazing, re-wiring, wall panelling, decoration and a new environmentally
friendly heating system, making it a perfect venue for wedding receptions, birthday parties, clubs, societies
and community events. The exterior was also decorated from top to bottom.
